Mary Ann is a very lucky lady to have the support that she has. I too was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer which is treatable but not curable. Many people have asked me how I can keep my sense of humor and smile. It's very simple. It's calle FAITH. I had six rounds of chemotherapy and have been in remission since June of 2006. Faith, love, and prayers have gotten me through this difficult time and I know Mary Ann will pull through just as well.

My neice Sydney was diagnosed with this same type of cancer (in the same area of the mouth and jaw) in February of '06. She had 40+ weeks of chemo and numerous weeks (mon-fri) of radiation. She is now in the waiting process. Lots of follow up appointments and scans and lots of bloodwork. I will pray for your friend. If you would like to contact us for support i can give you their contact information. I will continue to watch for updates. God Bless. Tonia Kinder (270)737-9898

I just came across you message on Scott's message board. I too am a mother who has a 2 year old with embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma. Her tumor was discovered on Feb 7, 2006 in her left cheek/jaw area, with a small secondary site on the lining of her right lung. She finished chemo on Nov 24, 2006 and underwent 6 weeks of radiation. She is currently under assessment scans with the last one in December clear. She has had no surgeries as of yet. Her next scan is scheduled on Valentine's day. I think it is a wonderful thing you have done for your friends, as we know medical bills are quite hefty with these kinds of treatment. Feel free to contact me if you would like. My daughters care page is Sydney12104.

I saw Mary Ann's story on Channel 9. This struck a nerve because my mother was diagnosed with cancer four weeks ago. The cancer had eaten a large hole inside the right side of her jaw and a large cancerous wart had formed between her cheek and jaw bone. She has since had surgery and the large wart removed from the right side of her face. The orginial surgery was scheduled for twelve hours which included major reconstruction to her face. What happen next is totally amazing and the reason I wanted to share this story.

Prior to my mothers' surgery I overnight her a product called Natural Cellular Defense(NCD). Her surgery was scheduled for a Wednesday and she started taking the supplement the Friday prior to the surgery. She spoke to me the day before the surgery and said, "the wart had been shrinking and the hole was closing and healing". The next day of the surgey, instead of twelve hours it was five hours and no major reconstruction of her face. The surgeon was able to remove the wart from the inside of her face instead of cutting from the outside. It only took FIVE days and the NCD made a significant difference. I only wonder what the outcome would have been if she had been on the supplement for weeks instead of days. She is now on the road to recovery and taking radiation treatments.

I was somewhat hesitant to send this email but I felt obligated to share this because the NCD has helped many others with cancer and various other illness.

I was recently on KFOR4 News Health Check discussing Natural Cellular Defense. I have sent a link to the interview below and the above link to my website.

If I can answer any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

God Bless,

Just a few minutes ago, on channel 9 news at noon here in Oklahoma City, I heard for the first time about Mary Ann, and the story of Faith. This story has moved me beyond words. My 14 year old daughter Juliette is a cancer survivor. We celebrated 2 years off treatment on Thanksgiving Day this year, Nov 23. Julie had Hodgkins Lymphoma, stage 4 when it was diagnosed. We were very blessed as this cancer responded well to treatments. She spent a week in isolation at the hospital with shingles at the end of her radiation treatments, just like Mary Ann. That happened to be the same week my oldest son and his fiance were planning to be married. My future daughter in law was a nurse on the cancer floor at Childrens Hospital in OKC, where Juliette received her treatments. Julie was unable to leave the hospital for the wedding, so they brought the wedding to the hospital. The doctors allowed Juliette to put on a protective mask and gown, and go out to the patio just long enough to be there for the wedding, which was held under a lovely tree in the grass on the side of the patio.
Julie was 11 when she was diagnosed with cancer, and will be monitored for years to come, but to date, by the Grace of God, she is cancer free. I would like to offer the opportunity of a pen pal connection for Mary Ann if she and her family agree. Julie is a sweet, loving Christian girl who understands all too well the fears and pain that Mary Ann has faced. You have my email, so please contact me if the family approves, and I will give you our mailing address to send on to Mary Ann. I'll be purchasing a book as soon as financially possible, and I will spread the word of this beautiful little girl and the story that God gave to you for her to my family and friends,as well as our various churches. Please send Mary Ann our love, let her know that prayers are being lifted to God for her, and for her family as well.

What a great idea.
I know with my own daughter, Savannah, who is in and out of the hospital having a little friend like "Faith" can really be a BLESSING.
Have a very Merry CHRISTmas.

Good A.M., Melynna.

I saw your story on OK City's morning news today. You are right. All the good that's been done has to be considered a miracle. I went to the website today and donated, but more importantly, I have passed it along to my friends and family in careers that deal with children who can especially appreciate what you have done and continue to do. I hope they will join me in sending along even a small donation to help Mary Ann's family. We know that "there but for the grace of God go I" is so true.
Best wishes for you and yours to have a wonderful, blessed holiday season.
Sincerely yours,
Joy W.

I am the organist at Southwood Baptist Church, OKC. This is let you know that I have talked to my daughter-in-law who works at Christian Heritage Academy. She is taking the book to Mr. Clay, who is in charge of this type of thing, in the morning. I pray that you will get a positive response to come to the school for presentation of your amazing story of "Faith". What a beautiful book, content, art work, and the spirit of this project shows on every page. Thank you for coming to Southwood! My love and prayers for Mary Ann and for your ministry of hope.
I am also very proud to know the creator of this very special book. She is like a second mother to me and I am thrilled about the book and what it stands for. I am praying for Mary Ann everyday and this book is a great reminder for me. My 2 year old daughter, Ragen, loves the book and we read it at least once a day. Her favorite part is when Faith's friend, Trey, wipes his nose on his ears, and it says "got all tangled up in those NASTY ears." (she thinks that is hillarious!) I cant wait to hear updates on Mary Ann and look forward to hearing about all the joy this book brings to people. Melynna, you are so special to me, and now so is Mary Ann and this book.

This book has touched so many lives and it is just now being distributed. Melynna, thank you for your vision and obedience to God. Kelly, thank you for letting God use you and your talent.
